There is something really thrilling about sliding. Where for a minute you feel weightless and add in a free spirited “WEEEeeeee” and it becomes even more fun.  Lexi loves slides but there are some that are just too big for a little girl all by herself.  So we ride down them together.  And it is SO much fun!  Not just for me – it’s so fun for Lexi.  Today we went to Bruce Park to enjoy this awesome fall day and we went down the big slide and she turned to look at me at the bottom with a huge smile on her face to see if I was smiling too and she signed more.

There should be more slides in life.  Like in my house for example I would go upstairs more frequently if I could take a slide down.  I might even be motivated enough to put away the laundry….well, maybe not that motivated.
