I’ve been pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Handing out cards – just asking to take peoples pictures – believing that all of this is going to net out to a life with dreams fulfilled and not wished for.
I took one picture of Christina (who cuts my hair at Hopscotch in Greenwich and is AWESOME if you’re local – Nina does my color and also = Awesome). Here it is. I guess sometimes you just need to take one shot.

I'm proud of you for pursuing this with such passion. That's a great shot.
Wow, I'm really impressed! That's a gorgeous photo. It's so amazing that you're pushing yourself this way to get what you want out of life -- it is REALLY inspiring! On a lesser scale it seems I'm doing similar -- today I agreed to job shadow a grade eight teacher and it's looking slightly like this wannabe kindergarten teacher might have to teach 13-year-olds to "break in" to this profession. It's really far outside of my comfort level (in fact, my formal training is kindergarten to grade six, so I haven't even ever worked with eighth graders before; I might even have to pay to take an upgrade course, ai yi yi)... but I'm going to dive into it if it means starting my dream career. I guess we all just have to put ourselves out there sometimes and say, "What's the worst than can happen, let's give this whirl!". Good for you!!! :-D
